Inter are planning to sign Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi in January as a replacement for Stefano Sensi and Matias Vecino if they leave the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the club are anticipating the possible departures of Stefano Sensi and Matias Vecino from the Inter midfield soon and may act quickly to sign Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo.

That frees up room in the wage budget to bring in Davide Frattesi but due to a lack of funds for a transfer, Inter may need to do a deal with the Neroverdi that is similar to the one that Juventus did for Manuel Locatelli last summer.

An 18-month loan would likely be the course of action taken by Inter and there would be an obligation to buy the player permanently for an agreed fee at the end of the loan.

An alternative plan is that of Morten Thorsby at Sampdoria.
