Inter duo Alexis Sanchez and Stefano Sensi have been praised for their goalscoring exploits against Empoli on Wednesday night in the Coppa Italia, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport whilst handing out their player ratings, Alexis Sanchez was given a seven out of 10 after he opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri by heading in Deznel Dumfries’ cross at the far post.

Stefano Sensi was also given plenty of praise for coming off the bench and scoring the winning goal in the first half of extra time with a strike from just inside the box.

He was also given a rating of seven out of 10. His goal was particularly impressive as he has not played for so long due to injury and also seems to be destined to join Sampdoria on loan until the end of the current season.
