Andrea Ranocchia could sign a new contract with Inter at the end of the season to extend his time at the club even further, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Italian defender will be out of contract in the summer but has shown on a couple of occasions this season that he can be important when called upon by Simone Inzaghi.
That was shown during the league victory over Napoli that was vital in helping Inter get to the top, and in the Coppa Italia against Empoli where he scored the goal to take the game to extra time.
Contract discussions are not imminent but it is known that the 33-year-old has always told his entourage to put any offer from Inter ahead of anything from other clubs.
If he continues to impress when given a chance, he could continue at Inter.
