Inter forward Joaquin Correa may only miss two matches as a result of his thigh injury which could allow Stefano Sensi to go on loan to Sampdoria, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the injury suffered by Joaquin Correa in the Coppa Italia match against Empoli seemed very serious but he may only be absent for the matches against Venezia and AC Milan.

That means that despite it seeming that Inter will not allow Stefano Sensi to complete his loan move to Sampdoria this month, they may change their minds later in the window.

The player is very keen on making the move as he is aware that it represents a better opportunity to get regular game time and impress national team boss Roberto Mancini.

Joaquin Correa is having further medical examinations today to find out the extent of the injury.
