Marcelo Brozovic and Edin Dzeko are expected to return to the Inter starting lineup for the match against Venezia on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Simone Inzaghi is expected to welcome back many of the first choice Inter stars for the Serie A match against Venezia having given them a rest for the Coppa Italia match against Empoli on Wednesday night.
It is also expected that Alexis Sanchez will start the game alongside Edin Dzeko instead of Lautaro Martinez.
Beyond that tweak, the lineup will be what many recognise to be the Nerazzurri’s strongest starting eleven right now.
There is of course still a real chance that the match will not go ahead because there is a high number of positive Covid-19 cases in the Venezia camp.
It should soon be clear if they have too many to play the fixture.
