Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has expressed his joy at the fact that Inter has reached the next round of the Coppa Italia after beating Empoli 3-2 in extra time.
The Italian defender has been very reliable for Simone Inzaghi when he has been called upon to give other players in the squad the opportunity for a rest.
Inter were set to go out of the competition but Andrea Ranocchia took the game to extra time and then Stefano Sensi scored the winner.
