Inter don’t look likely to be able to sign either Filip Kostic or Ramy Bensebaini this month, as their clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengldbach aren’t open to loaning them out during the window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are still prioritizing a left-sided player to back up Ivan Perisic during the January transfer window.

Coach Simone Inzaghi has reiterated to the club the importance of signing a player who can deputize fore Perisic, especially as the 32-year-old could be turned to as an option in attack at times over the rest of the campaign.

Kostic and Bensebaini are among the Nerazzurri’s main long-term targets to take over from Perisic on the left, but one of the pair could also be brought in to initially play as his backup if they are available on an initial loan deal.

However, Inter are only interested in signing them on loan for the time being, and neither Eintracht nor Gladbach have shown any willingness to this kind of operation.
