Inter are still serious about trying to sign Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic on loan during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri still consider the 29-year-old their priority target to back up Ivan Perisic for the rest of the season in the squad.

Kostic is a major target for the summer, with the Nerazzurri seeing him as their preferred option to succeed Perisic in the long term on the left of the team.

However, they have also made the arrival of a left-sided player to back up Perisic in the team for the rest of the season a priority for the January transfer window, though they can only loan in a player for the time being.

In addition to targeting Kostic for June, the Nerazzurri are still working to convince the Serb’s current club on an initial loan deal so that he can arrive this month.
