Inter are working on identifying a striker and a left wing-back to bring in before the end of the January transfer window, while they will also have to decide on Stefano Sensi’s future.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri will spend the next day or two firming up their agenda for the window with these being the main points.

In attack, the injury to Joaquin Correa has left Inter somewhat shot-handed, and there is a possibility that they will move for a striker who can fill out the attacking options.

The Argentine’s injury has meant that there are three senior forwards in the squad, which coach Simone Inzaghi considers to be too few, although only a low-cost or loan signing would be considered.

A left-sided player to deputize for Ivan Perisic in the team also remains a priority this month, with Inzaghi hoping a player in the position is brought in before the window closes, while the club could also look for someone to be the long-term successor to the Croat.

Lastly, the club are yet to resolve Sensi’s situation, and could still either decide to let him join Sampdoria on loan for the rest of the season or keep him in the squad, with a decision soon to be made.
