Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic and Borussia Monchegnladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini are not likely to be available on loan amid strong interest from Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are not likely to be able to sign the pair during the January transfer window as they would not be allowed to leave on initial loan deals.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is hoping to bring in a player who can deputize for Ivan Perisic on the left, with the Croat potentially being out with injury or suspension, needing a rest, or being used in an attacking position.

Right now, Federico Dimarco is the only natural replacement for the Croat, and he is seen as more of a defender, while Aleksandar Kolarov could retire from football amid recurring injury setbacks.

Kostic and Bensebaini are two of the Nerazzurri’s long-term targets to succeed Perisic and are also being considered to be brought in on loan to initially back up the 32-year-old before taking over from him.

However, Inter would only be able to sign either of the Bundesliga pair on loan, and neither club looks to be at all open to transfers of this nature for the players.
