Inter defender Aleksandar Kolarov plans to terminate his contract with the Nerazzurri in the upcoming days.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 36-year-old will end his time with the club soon though what he decides to do after remains to be seen.

Kolarov has not managed to find significant playing time this season with the Nerazzurri, with the Serb troubled by persistent injuries which have meant that he has rarely been fit and available.

The player is ready to end his time with the Nerazzurri, though it remains to be seen whether he decides to join a new club or retire from football altogether, or transition to a different role within football.

Whether the Serb hangs up his boots or moves to a different club, the Nerazzurri will likely be prompted to act to sign a replacement for Kolarov this month.
