Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is still keen on a loan move to Sampdoria for the rest of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 26-year-old is still pushing for the dry loan to the Blucerchiati to go ahead.

Sensi had looked all set to make the switch to Sampdoria for the rest of the campaign in search of regular playing time to get back to his best form.

However, the move has been put on hold by the injury to Joaquin Correa, which has meant that the 26-year-old could be seen as necessary in the Nerazzurri’s squad for the second half of the campaign.

Sensi is still hoping for the loan move, however, as it would afford him regular playing time as he looks to play his way back into the Italian national team.

It remains to be seen how the Nerazzurri ultimately deal with Sensi’s situation, but the player’s preference would be a dry loan away.
