Inter are targeting Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens during the last week of the January transfer window.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on air moments ago that the Nerazzurri will make a push for the German this month to sign for the rest of the season.

A left-sided player to back up Ivan Perisic for the rest of the season has been one of the major priorities for the January transfer window for Inter, and Gosens is a player who they consider completely suitable for the role.

It could be tough to convince Atalanta on a deal for Gosens this month, however, as La Dea are not open to letting the 27-year-old go on an initial loan with a purchase option.

Gosens is already believed to have rejected an offer from Newcastle United because the Premier League club find themselves in a relegation battle, the report continues.
