Inter are waiting to assess all of the possible attacking signings available this month before they decide on whether to move for Genoa’s Felipe Caicedo.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to see if there are any players with a younger profile available in the last week of the January transfer window.

Inter look increasingly set to sign an attacking player before the transfer window shuts, with the injury to Joaquin Correa leading the club to deem it necessary to bolster the forward options.

Caicedo remains a serious possibility, as does reintegrating Eddie Salcedo into the team following the 20-year-old’s return from his loan spell with Spezia.

However, the club will not rush to sign anyone, and are still considering all their options as they consider players who could also reinforce the squad in the longer-term future.
