Inter wing-back Matteo Darmian is glad to have helped the Nerazzurri to a comeback win over Venezia in Serie A in Saturday to go into the international break with three points.
The 32-year-old was crucial in the team’s first-half equalizer, with his excellent cross a key part of the move that allowed Nicolo Barella to cancel out Venezia’s opening goal.
Darmian posted on his Instagram account afterwards to celebrate the massive result for the team.
He captioned the post, “We showed our Nerazzurri spirit!”
