Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is set to complete his loan move to Sampdoria for the rest of the season tomorrow.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old should officially join the Blucerchiati on a dry loan for the rest of the season tomorrow.

Sensi had already been close to a loan to the Ligurian side just prior to the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli, but an injury to Joaquin Correa temporarily put the plans on hold.

Inter were considering keeping Sensi in the squad as an attacking midfielder as a potential option in Correa’s absence as they considered their transfer strategy.

However, the player pushed for a move to Sampdoria on a dry loan so that he can play regular minutes under new Blucerchiati boss Marco Giampaolo, and everything is all set for the move to go ahead with plenty of time to spare in the transfer window.
