Lazio defender Luiz Felipe looks set for an exit from the Biancocelesti in the summer on a free transfer, with Inter and Real Betis among the clubs interested in his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 24-year-old looks unlikely to agree on a new deal with the Biancocelesti with his current contract expiring at the end of June.

Felipe is asking for a net of €2.5 million per season in order to extend his contract with Lazio, considerably more than the Biancocelesti’s initial offer in the region of €1.5-1.6 million net per season.

The club have increased their offer to €2 million net to try and convince the defender, but this does not look to be enough.

Betis look to be the club with the strongest interest in signing Felipe in the summer, but the Nerazzurri could also swoop to reunite him with former coach Simone Inzaghi on a free transfer.
