Inter are beginning to plan for a future without Ivan Perisic who is yet to come close to renewing his contract with the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Croatian winger will be out of contract in June and is yet to have much in the way of serious discussions with the club about renewing.

He currently earns €5 million net per season and he wants his next contract to be for more money. Inter will meet with him in February to discuss this but it is looking increasingly likely that he will leave the club in the summer.

If he does do that, Inter are keeping an eye on Genoa defender Andrea Cambiaso who has been very impressive this season.

He is only 21 and would be able to act as the backup for Robin Gosens.
