Inter will be paying special attention to the work of Edin Dzeko in training as he will be the only senior striker there right now, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Bosnian forward will be aiming to get back into the best physical condition possible during the short break until the Derby della Madonnina on Saturday 5th February.

Joaquin Correa is of course out with a thigh injury so he will not be in training, and Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez are both with Chile and Argentina respectively.

The Inter squad has had three days of rest after a very intensive schedule over January but yesterday they met at Appiano Gentile to begin preparing for the huge match against AC Milan.

The aforementioned strikers will all be back in Milan for that game and hopefully do not pick up injuries whilst in South America.
