AC Milan are ready to battle with Inter for the signature of Torino defender Bremer whilst Mino Raiola has promised Inter a large fee should Stefan de Vrij be sold, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Repubblica, if AC Milan’s interest in Lille defender Sven Botman does not lead to a transfer then they will set their sights on Brazilian defender Bremer.

A move from Inter for the player would be relevant to any potential departure of Stefan de Vrij. His agent Mino Raiola is keen to move the Dutchman to the Premier League and has told Inter he can get clubs to pay at least €25 million for him.

That is the fee that would become Bremer’s release clause should Torino be able to sign him to a new contract and protect his value.

He is out of contract in 2023.
