Inter have had their pathway for Gianluca Scamacca cleared as the player appears to only be interested in a move to the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Arsenal asked Gianluca Scamacca’s agent about his availability and they were told he only wants to make a move to another Italian team, which is looking like it will be Inter.

Arsenal were in discussions with Alessandro Lucci about bringing Dejan Kulusevski to the club on loan from Juventus when they made the enquiry about Gianluca Scamacca.

The Neroverdi are already working on players that could be the replacement for Gianluca Scamacca should he leave the club in the summer transfer window. The primary targets seem to be Pisa’s Lorenzo Lucca and Luca Moro.

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund recently made a bid for Gianluca Scamacca of €45 million and would make him the replacement for Erling Haaland, but the player has no interest in this move, the report adds.

Inter are already in advanced discussions with the player on personal terms. A contract has already been drawn up with over four-five-years with a net worth of €2 million plus bonuses per season.

This is a major increase on the €500,000 plus bonuses that he currently earns at Sassuolo. Inter still needs to find the transfer agreement with the Neroverdi which may be achievable with a bid of €40 million.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are working to include some players in the deal which could be Lorenzo Pirola and Cesare Casadei. If Lorenzo Lucca arrives at Sassuolo, that would exclude Andrea Pinamonti from being used in negotiations.

Another element to the transfer is Inter’s interest in Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi. The Nerazzurri may attempt to sign them both as part of the same deal in order to reduce the amount of money being spent at once.
