Former Genoa defender Claudio Onofri has said that Juventus are too far away to trouble Inter for the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with TMW Radio, the former Genoa defender and manager took stock of the correct Serie A title fight and he clearly feels that Juventus already has too much work to do to catch Inter, even if Dusan Vlahovic may help them get into the top four.

“Juventus? Also for the strength Milan and Napoli are showing, I say that the points they have at a disadvantage are difficult to recover. Given the trend of the last games and the arrival of Vlahovic, the hope of the Juventus fans grows to finish even better than fourth place.”

He then said that Inter are looking very impressive at the top of the table so far and only AC Milan and Napoli will be able to get involved in that title fight with the Nerazzurri now.

“I think Juventus are recovering but Inter there in front is impressive. For the Scudetto I see Juve out at the moment and only Inter, Milan and Napoli being involved.”

Inter are currently sitting four points ahead of Napoli at the top of the Serie A table and they have a game in hand over the Azzurri. The next match for Inter is against AC Milan.
