Former Juventus midfielder Marco Tardelli has said that Inter do not have any rivals in Serie A this season, suggesting they will win the Scudetto again, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking from his column in La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marco Tardelli took stock of Juventus’ current situation in relation to the quality of Inter.

Marco Tardelli feels that Inter have improved even more now with the signings of Robin Gosens and potentially Felipe Caicedo.

“This year Inter have no rivals: even in the difficult games they have given important signals, winning games that no one thought they could win. And with Gosens and perhaps Caicedo, also continues to work well on the market.”

In terms of how Juventus can fare against Inter in the next Serie A campaign, Marco Tardelli still feels that the Bianconeri needs more than just the signing of Dusan Vlahovic this January.

“I repeat: we also need more. First of all, to review the midfield and find an excellent defender. I wish Chiellini would play a lot more, but some changes must be made and I don’t know how much they will trust Rugani: so far little, I would say. But Vlahovic is a good one to start.”

Marco Tardelli also talked about Paulo Dybala who will be out of contract with the club in the summer and is being linked with a free transfer to Inter. He feels that the Argentine needs to show more of his best to the club.

“Someone like Dybala is never too much but he must give what he has, prove that he is worth what he asks for.

“However, lately Dybala has not been the leader that Juve needs: too discontinuous, conditioned by Covid or his renewal, I don’t know.”
