Former Palermo Sporting Director Rino Foschi has said that he would not like to see Juventus forward Paulo Dybala join Inter on a free transfer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with TMW Radio, Rino Foschi explained that he would not like to see the Argentine forward who made his name at Palermo leave Juventus without having given them what many felt he was capable of.

“I would not give away Dybala, especially on a free transfer. I would be sorry to see him at Inter or at Barcelona without having given what he owed to Juventus.”

Paulo Dybala made Palermo his first club in Italy and that is where he made a name for himself. he then moved onto Juventus and has been very successful.

He has struggled in the past 18 months with injuries and poor form and that is what Rino Foschi finds concerning.

“You need to know the real Dybala. We saw him a year and a half ago when he was physically and mentally fine. He is an important player but also a man, more or less fragile like everyone else.

“He had Covid, but there was also so much more. If he’s okay, I’m definitely not without Dybala. A very big mistake was made at Juve, they gave him the contract before the holidays and now things have changed.

“They have hit rock bottom, they have to start with someone like him. They have to arrange the contract for him. In his role as an attacking midfielder, not a striker or winger, he is the best.”

Inter have been linked heavily with the Argentine forward because he has a good relationship with Beppe Marotta. There has not been an official offer made to the player yet.
