Inter are currently more likely to sign Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer from Torino than AC Milan are, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported today in the print edition of La Repubblica, AC Milan want to make a move for the defender if they are not able to bring Lille defender Sven Botman to the club in the next summer transfer window.

Despite their interest, Inter are already further along in their discussion for the player and hope to conclude a deal soon.

Torino president Urbano Cairo is pushing to have the player sign a new contract so that he can insert a €25 million release clause and therefore protect his value.

His current deal runs out in 2023 meaning he could force a cheap move from the club as things stand. Inter may decide to sell Stefan de Vrij to a Premier League team in order to raise the money.
