Inter are one of many clubs exploring the idea of signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie on a free transfer this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, it is now looking very unlikely that the Ivorian midfielder will be renewing his contract with the Rossoneri after a lengthy negotiation period.

Juventus are also very aware of the situation, as are Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur who are coached by Antonio Conte.

The Rossoneri player would effectively take the place in the squad of Matias Vecino who will leave in the summer and further wages should be made available from Arturo Vidal’s departure.

Franck Kessie has already turned down a €6.5 million per season deal with AC Milan so he will not be a cheap option for the Nerazzurri when it comes to the wage budget.
