Inter will have to pay Atalanta the transfer fee for Robin Gosens after he plays his first game in January 2023 for the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, it was previously understood that Inter would be paying the transfer fee after the first point that Inter won after January 1 2023.
They will instead pay the €25 million fee for the German after the first game that he is involved in for Inter after January 1 2023 which includes friendlies.
Robin Gosens joined Inter officially on Thursday evening and will be on loan until the deal is made permanent. He has become one of the best wing backs in the world whilst at Atalanta under Gian Piero Gasperini.
He will likely turn out to be the replacement for Ivan Perisic in the long run as the Croatian seems unlikely to sign a new deal.
