AC Milan recently expressed interest in signing Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo but the player was not interested in the move, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there has been plenty of suitors for Gianluca Scamacca over the course of this season but only Inter seems to have a real chance of signing him.

AC Milan is aware that they will soon need younger replacements for the ageing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud in their attack.

That is why they made contact with Gianluca Scamacca but he appears to only have eyes for Inter right now. The Nerazzurri still need to reach an agreement with Sassuolo in order to sign the Italian.

It was reported earlier today that Borussia Dortmund suffered the same rejection from the young striker when they made a €45 million bid to the Neroverdi for the player.
