Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is looking at Juventus’s Paulo Dybala and AC Milan’s Franck Kessie as serious possibilities on free transfers from major rivals.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri executive would see free transfers of this nature as significant moves in a long-term growth strategy for Inter.

Both Dybala and Kessie are yet to agree new contracts with their current clubs, and with both seeing their deals expire at the end of June they could both leave at the end of the season should they not extend

The Nerazzurri have already signed one Rossoneri player on a free transfer to good effect in the form of Hakan Calhanoglu, and Marotta is aiming to repeat the trick if the opportunity arises.

The CEO is vigilant in the transfer market and already thinking about the future of the team, not just in terms of their quality in Serie A but also kicking on in the Champions League.

By weakening a major rival like Milan or Juventus, Marotta could also reinforce Inter’s own squad, making them more competitive on all fronts.

The CEO is focused on building a strong young squad for the future, but he has an eye on both Dybala and Kessie as players who can fit into his vision for the Nerazzurri.
