Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is aiming to get back to his best form in his loan spell at Sampdoria over the rest of the season.

Speaking to the Blucerchiati’s social media channel, as reported by FCInterNews, the 26-year-old emphasized the importance of finding consistency during his spell with the Ligurian club.

Sensi has officially completed his move to Sampdoria, and will hope to spend the rest of the season getting regular playing time so that he can contribute to a successful second half of the campaign for the Blucerchiati and find his own rhythm.

The midfielder has the chance to become an important part of returning Sampdoria coach Marco Giampaolo’s project in Liguria until the end of the campaign.

He is excited to take it, and hopes that he can build up a rhythm in a way that he hasn’t been able to during the first half of the campaign due to injuries and limited playing time.

“I’m happy to be here because this is a great club with a storied history,” he said.

Of his match-winning extra time in the Coppa Italia, he said that “My goal against Empoli in the Coppa Italia was important because it decided the game but I really wanted to come here to try to find consistency and contribute regularly to the team.”
