Inter believe that there is a chance that they could sign midfielder Franck Kessie from city rivals AC Milan on a free transfer in the summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri consider the Ivorian a serious target for June.
Kessie’s current contract with the Rossoneri is set to expire at the end of June, and with no agreement yet found on an extension he would be available on a free transfer at the end of his deal.
The Nerazzurri are admirers of the 25-year-old, and having already managed to sign a midfielder from their city rivals in similar circumstances last summer in the form of Hakan Calhanoglu, they believe that it would not be impossible to do again.
No serious steps have been taken towards signing Kessie as of yet, but the club are aware that he would constitute a serious possibility.
