Juventus have jumped ahead of Inter and Torino in the race to sign young Frosinone defender Federico Gatti.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluigi Di Marzio, who reports that the Bianconeri are making a late push to sign the 20-year-old this month for a fee of around €9-10 million.
The Nerazzurri have been considering a move for Gatti, whose form with Frosinone this season has marked him out as a player with high potential.
For some time, it has been the Granata who have looked to have been most firmly interested in the young defender, hoping the move for him during the January window, but they’ve fallen behind their city rivals, according to Di Marzio.
The Bianconeri are also aiming to sign Gatti before the January transfer window slams shut, although it remains to be seen if Inter or Torino decide to make another move to beat them to his signature.
