Inter are working on securing a left wing-back to add depth in the position for the future, with Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi and Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso their main targets.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are also considering Sampdoria left-back Tommaso Augello for the position.

Inter have added a player of significant quality to the left side of the form of Robin Gosens, who arrived this month on loan from Atalanta and will be signed permanently when certain conditions are met.

However, with Ivan Perisic potentially departing at the end of his contract in the summer and Federico Dimarco seen as a centre-back option, signing another option to compete with Gosens for the position in the long term is also a priority.

For this the Nerazzurri’s focus will be on signing a young player, and Parisi and Cambiaso are two profiles who they like a lot, although for a slightly more experienced option Augello would also be considered.
