Inter look to be the favourites to sign Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on air that the Nerazzurri are leading the chase for his signature and currently working on a deal for June.

Di Marzio notes that the relationship between the respective CEOs of the Nerazzurri and the Neroverdi, Beppe Marotta and Giovanni Carnevali, are very good.

He further notes that the Nerazzurri have a good track record with Scamacca’s agent Alessandro Lucci, another potential factor that looks to be making talks to sign Scamacca progress smoothly.

With Juventus no longer in the race to sign the 22-year-old, and the player preferring to stay in Italy and move to Inter, it looks as though a deal can be done for him.

Di Marzio explains that the Nerazzurri are on track to sign Scamacca, and feel that for the above reasons their pursuit will be successful.
