Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti believes that reported Inter targets Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi have a lot of potential to really improve the Nerazzurri.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, Sconcerti spoke about the qualities that the Neroverdi duo can add to Inter’s team, and gave the view that they are players who should definitely be signed.
Inter’s transfer strategy going forward looks to be focused on bringing in young Italian players who can improve the team for seasons to come, and they appear to have identified Scamacca and Frattesi as two profiles who can be built around.
Sconcerti believes that the two are well-scouted and could provide the right traits to improve the Nerazzurri in key areas of the pitch for years to come.
He doesn’t hesitate to praise either player’s suitability to make the step up to a club of Inter’s stature given what they’ve shown already.
“They are both very interesting players, he said. “Regarding Scamacca I think it’s fair to say he would provide quality with certainty, Frattesi seems like the new Marchisio to me, an intelligent and hard-working presence in the middle of the pitch.”
“Inter needs these signings,” he went on, “especially in the middle.”
