Pirelli CEO and Inter fan Marco Tronchetti Provera feels that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta has done a good job to secure the future of the club.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster GR Parliamento, Tronchetti Provera hailed Marotta’s work in building a future for the Nerazzurri and expressed optimism about the direction in which it is headed.

Inter have enjoyed a successful few seasons, culminating in last season’s Scudetto win, and they are on track to win the Serie A title again in addition to being in the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

However, Marotta’s vision seems to go beyond this, and he is also working on building the squad so that it can continue to grow for years to come, focusing on younger Italian players.

Tronchetti Provera feels very happy with the job that the CEO has done so far and furthermore believes that it will continue to bear fruit for seasons to come.

“The club has shown that it has a clear vision, and the signings from last summer and this January give balance to the team,” he stated.

“I’m very happy that Beppe Marotta is with us,” he went on, “he is doing an extraordinary job. We can look to the future with some optimism.”

On the Nerazzurri’s new bond to refinance their debt Tronchetti Provera stated that “This issue is not only pertinent in Italy, it also affects the whole world of football.”

He reflected that “I believe that teams must find a path forward because there is it is too great an imbalance between the money circulating and the balance.”
