Sampdoria could aim to sign Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi on a permanent basis when his loan spell with the Ligurian club ends at the end of the season.
This according to yesterday’s print edition of Genoa-based newspaper Il Secolo XIX, who report that the Blucerchiati are already considering the possibility of making a push to sign the 26-year-old permanently if his loan works out.
Inter have only sent Sensi out on a dry loan, as they still consider him a part of their future plans despite wanting him to receive regular playing time in Serie A for the rest of the season so he can regain his best form.
The Blucerchiati will hope that returning coach can get the best out of the former Sassuolo midfielder, and if he shines on loan they could look to sign him permanently.
Whether the Ligurians could convince Inter on a deal for the 26-year-old, however, remains to be seen.
