Former Inter striker Mauro Icardi was affected by his move away from the Nerazzurri, and it affected his form.

This according to his agent Letterio Pino, who spoke to Italian broadcaster Radio Marte, and explained that the Argentine initially struggled to settle in at Paris Saint-German after his move away from the Nerazzurri.

Icardi moved to PSG in the summer of 2019, with the Nerazzurri replacing the Argentine with Romelu Lukaku, and he left having established a strong reputation at Inter and even became captain, but also had a fractured relationship with the fans.

The former Nerazzurri striker joined a star-studded PSG squad, and he has appeared regularly and also been an outlet for goals during his two and a half seasons in the French capital.

However, as his agent stated, the transition away from the Nerazzurri was not a straightforward one for the striker to make.

“I know how he feels well,” Pino stated about the striker, “maybe his farewell to the Nerazzurri left its mark on him. He’s done well at PSG, though ‘s not easy to establish himself in the champions.”
