Inter are interested in Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso and Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi as replacements for Ivan Perisic at left wing-back should the Croat leave at the end of his contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the two young Italians are the Nerazzurri’s two primary targets to reinforce the left side of the squad should Perisic be on his way.

Inter will sit down with Perisic this month to begin talks to determine whether he has a future at the club beyond the summer, but he could well leave at the end of his contract at the end of June.

Should the 32-year-old leave the club, Robin Gosens has already been signed from Atalanta to reinforce the left wing-back position, but the Nerazzurri could move to add another player in the role.

The focus will be on signing younger players, and the form shown by both Cambiaso and Parisi in Serie A this season has marked them out at the top of the Nerazzurri’s list.
