Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will face his old side AC Milan for the second time on Saturday, and he will hope that he can replicate the form that he’s been showing since his first derby in a Nerazzurri shirt.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who highlight the first Milan derby of the season in November as the match in which the 27-year-old really announced himself as an Inter player.

Calhanoglu took a bit of time to really settle into life at Inter after joining from the Rossoneri on a free transfer last summer, showing flashes of his best form but not on a regular enough basis.

However, the Turk successfully scored from the penalty spot against his old side in the derby, and never really looked back, becoming key to the Nerazzurri’s run of wins after that derby.

Calhanoglu has now scored six goals and made eight assists across the season, and he will be hoping that he can once again make a decisive impact against his old team.
