Inter have already shown an interest in the likes of striker Gianluca Scamacca and midfielder Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo.

This according to Neroverdi CEO Giovanni Carnevali, who told Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com that the Nerazzurri were among the earliest clubs to move for the players, who were never going to be sold in January but could be allowed to leave in the summer.

Inter are already moving on from the January transfer window and considering their aims for the summer, with Scamacca and Frattesi two players who are major targets to shore up key positions in the squad.

The Nerazzurri could look to already get the signings of one or both of the two Neroverdi players wrapped up long before the summer transfer window opens.

As Carnevali indicated, Sassuolo would be open to the possibility of selling the two players in June, should they feel that an offer is sufficient.

“There was never any chance of them leaving in January, because we had no desire to sell these young plays,” he explained.

He went on that “There are clubs interested in them, it is a problem when no clubs are interested.”

“Inter were one of teams that moved first, but there are also requests from foreign clubs,” he added. “We’re lucky to have players of this quality, and we’ll consider what to do next under the right conditions.”
