Serie A referee Marco Guida has been appointed to take charge of Inter’s derby clash with AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday.

This is officially announced by Sky Sport Italia, who also name the rest of the officiating crew to be in charge of the massive fixture between first and second place in the Serie A table.

Guida will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Ciro Carboni and Giorgio Peretti, while the role of fourth official will be filled by Matteo Marchetti.

In the VAR booth, Paolo Mazzoleni will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected, and he will be assisted in his duties by Sergio Ranghetti.

Given the significance of Saturday’s match, both sides will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch and not on any contentious decisions made by the officials.
