Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is already back in Milan after the international break and is set to start the Derby della Madonnina on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine forward is going to be back in Milan on Thursday and will link up with Simone Inzaghi’s squad straight away.

Inter face AC Milan on Saturday evening in a game that could go a long way to deciding who will win the Serie A title this season.

Given his good form for both club and country, many felt that Alexis Sanchez may be in line to start alongside Edin Dzeko but he is not going to be back in Italy until late on Thursday night due to flight connections.

Both players found the net for their respective countries during the international break and should return feeling confident.
