Venezia director of sport Mattia Collauto has said that it is difficult for his team to face the likes of Inter and Napoli this season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, via FCInternews, Mattia Collauto explained that facing the better teams in the division is hard because even if they are not playing well, they have players that can make all the difference.

“Teams like Inter and Napoli are difficult for us to face because they manage to get the result even when they play badly, thanks to their individual good players.”

Venezia will be facing Napoli this weekend and will be hoping to pull off an upset against Luciano Spalletti’s side.

“Beating Napoli on Sunday will be a difficult undertaking for us because we are facing a strong team that has a great coach. We will try to go beyond the difficulties and play our game.”

Napoli beat Venezia 2-0 when the Arancianeroverdi travelled down to Naples to face the Azzurri. Inter has already beaten Venezia twice, winning 2-0 at the Penzo and 2-1 at San Siro with a last minute winner from Edin Dzeko.

Inter and Napoli are expected to battle until the end of the season to see who can win the Serie A title.
