Inter have signed the first Ecuadorian player in the history of the club in the form of Felipe Caicedo, who joins on loan from Genoa for the rest of the season.

The 33-year-old will be proud to represent his country for a club that has already had its colours represented by players of more nationalities than almost any other in football.

The Nerazzurri announced Caicedo’s arrival with a video themed around this big first for both the player and club.

They captioned the post, “Milan and Ecuador have something else in common now. In the city and on the field, Felipe Caicedo.”
