Simone Inzaghi looks set to start Alexis Sanchez in the game against AS Roma next week rather than against AC Milan on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Simone Inzaghi is going to alternate his two South American stars by letting Lautaro Martinez take the field against AC Milan on Saturday and Alexis Sanchez against AS Roma in the Coppa Italia next week.

This means that Edin Dzeko looks very likely to play both of the big matches coming up over the next week as he has not been away on international duty like the other two strikers have.

Part of the reason that Alexis Sanchez is unlikely to start the match against AC Milan tomorrow is that he returned from South America much later than Lautaro Martinez did and is not as fresh, through no fault of his own.
