Former AC Milan goalkeeper Massimo Taibi has said that Inter currently has something more to offer than the rest of the Serie A title contenders, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview on 1 Station Radio, via FCInternews, Massimo Taibi explained that the championship is very balanced this season but Inter appears to have more to give than Napoli and AC Milan right now.

“It’s a balanced championship, some teams like Milan and Napoli are doing well. Some teams have not strengthened because they are already competitive, but Inter have something more right now.”

Talking about the transfer market that has just closed, Massimo Taibi emphasised how the majority of clubs only moved for two or three players as they are being careful with their finances.

“They all moved for two, at most three players. This is the demonstration that we need to be more careful and the players have been put where they were missing.”

Inter signed Robin Gosens from Atalanta in what is likely to be an excellent transfer for the club. They also signed Genoa forward Felipe Caicedo on a short loan deal to cover the striker department after the injury to Joaquin Correa.

He will be out for around three more weeks.
