Inter do not yet have an agreement in place to sign Lazio defender Luiz Felipe on a free transfer although he does look destined to leave, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews today, the Brazilian has already declined a proposal from the Biancoceleste that would have seen him earn €2.5 million per season.

It is no secret that Inter are interested in the player and Simone Inzaghi would like to team up again with the Lazio player with who he worked for many years.

Inter have not made an agreement with the player yet despite some reports suggesting that they have. They are also not the only interested party.

La Liga side Real Betis are keen on Luiz Felipe and their coach, Manuel Pellegrini, has indicated to the club that he is the first choice for a new defender.

He may be asking for too much money for a player that would likely not be a starter at Inter.
