The director of Inter’s youth sector has praised Simone Inzaghi for the attention he shows the young football players at the club, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media yesterday.

Speaking during an interview with the club’s official TV channel Inter TV, via FCInternews, Roberto Samaden explained the pride it gives him to see academy graduates like Andrei Radu and Federico Dimarco wear the first team shirt on the pitch.

He then praised Simone Inzaghi, the current first team coach, for the close attention he pays to the young players at the club.

“The Primavera group is very young, this may lead us to leave something on the road immediately in terms of results. However, the goal is to train new players, to see Dimarco and Radu wear the First Team shirt today is an enormous pleasure.

“We must always thank the club and the technical management who show constant closeness to the nursery, as evidenced by the attention paid to the youngsters by the first team manager Simone Inzaghi.”

Roberto Samaden also talked about how nice it is for him to see the likes of Zanotti and Martin Satriano make their debuts for the first team as they represent the generation born in 2002.

“With the pandemic still underway, today the first goal is to train boys and girls, we must thank all the medical staff of Inter because they have always supported us in times of difficulty.

“It gives enormous satisfaction to see players like Zanotti and Satriano make their debut in the First Team, but also see some of them born in 2002 first in the Inter youth academy and then protagonists on a professional level. This makes the balance extremely positive and we must continue on this path.”

He then explained how the youth sector has a new approach of making the team very young, with some born in 2005 getting game time.

“In the Spring we closed a cycle and this year we started giving a very young footprint to the team, with some 2005 in the squad. All this then also affects the lower categories, giving the boys the opportunity to do different experiences.

“The player’s growth always comes before the immediate result, this is our primary goal. All this happens thanks to a staff of highly trained coaches and to the many people who make up the strong team of the Youth Sector. And for this, we must thank the company that allows us to work at our best every day.”
