Teams such as Barcelona have continued to try and entice Marcelo Brozovic to their clubs whilst he negotiates a contract renewal with Inter, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInter1908, it was widely expected that Marcelo Brozovic’s new contract would have been signed by the time the match against AC Milan came around.

That game will be played tomorrow at 18:00 local time and whilst there is no real fear from the club that he will not renew, it is playing on the minds of many fans that the new contract has still not been announced.

Barcelona, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint Germain, and Real Madrid have all harboured hopes of bringing the Croatian to their club on a free transfer.

The delay is thought to be down to the achievability of the bonuses involved in the contract that will likely be the last big contract of his career.
